THE STORY
This is my favorite sunset photo I've ever taken. And I've taken A LOT! 

After a full day of surfing, there isn't anything better than sitting in the pool overlooking the ocean with a cold Toña (the local Nicaraguan beer) in  hand. This day in particular was picturesque to say the least. A full day of 4-6 foot waves with offshore wind. We surfed till dark and finished the night off in the pool overlooking the local break in Nicaragua. I set my beer down for a minute and snapped this photo of the sky going crazy. At the time it was jaw-dropping seeing those colors, now looking back a few years later, it's still my favorite ever.
