Our good friends, Phil and Shannon Bannan, have almost a 100 year old cabin in the woods along the Russian River. My family and I got the opportunity to travel up there with our close friends and drink incredible wine, play games and eat way too much food. It was a perfect long weekend. If you ever get the chance to go up to Sonoma County, I highly recommend Russian River Vineyards. The Chardonnay and Syrah were incredible. Not cheap, but worth every penny (or dollar) in this case $$$.
