Lisa & Henry got married at Newland Barn in Huntington Beach, California. When I googled the venue, I realized it was down the street from my old apartment in HB. Right next to Mother's market in a grocery store, parking lot. Talk about diamonds in the rough. This brings new light to that saying.
On an enclosed lot in Orange County, this venue sits behind an old historic home that made the perfect backdrop to Lisa and Henry's dapper attire. They have that old-time look combined with that modern love. It was perfection. The details of the wedding, the family that celebrated, the friends that came to party along, it was all seriously magical. I overuse that word, but it's the only one I know to describe that buzz that tingles through your body on a perfect night.
After the ceremony, the guests gathered around to share In-N-Out double doubles under a perfect sunset. If you're thinking of who to cater your next wedding or event, look no further. I've never seen guests so happy, myself included. After dinner we snuck out to the open field behind the venue and danced the sun away. It was a perfect end to an awesome night. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do. Hahaha. Enjoy!
PS I've been trying to shoot more film at my weddings. I added in some shots I took on my Yashica-D, they're the ones with the black borders. LOVE!
