When Maggie reached out to me a few months back with their plan, I was shocked. Is this real? Can this actually be happening? Two amazing humans want to elope at sunrise in Palm Springs at the windmills! Oh, and Will is an avid climber and film photographer and will be in Joshua Tree climbing all week leading up to the event?! Amazing!
We ended up meeting up the night before the wedding in Joshua Tree to take some “engagement photos”. It was gorgeous. We cruised around Hidden Valley and took some photos then scrambled the backside of Cyclops to watch the sunset. A dream come true. Maggie and Will were such a fun couple, it was a match made in heaven, me included!
We ended up all staying at the Ace and going out for flaming Piña Colada drinks that night. A good idea? Maybe. Hahaha. We shut it down around midnight then had a 6am call time to get ready for the sunrise elopement at the windmills. It was all too perfect. We had the best time cruising around the beautiful Palm Springs and Ace Hotel just capturing a beautiful couple in love. We finished with brunch at King’s Highway and some wedding cake. Maggie and Will wanted to enjoy this moment between just them two. They may or may not have told all their friends and family. Hence the cake. “Oops, Just Got Married!”.
