THE STORY
Black's Beach in La Jolla, California is a treat to say the least. The waves there are perfect. It is a mission getting down there though. So typically before you go, you check it from one of a few different spots. For those that know, this is through a hole in the fence looking down at it (Not shot from a drone. It's from a cliff, the poor man's drone). We checked it, I shot this photo and we ended up surfing Scripp's instead. The crowd can be grueling and you have to be in the right mindset. Scripp's was the call this day, but this photo is still one of my favorites.
