THE STORY
The sunsets in Nicaragua are magical. Almost as beautiful as the waves. It blows offshore all day and you can surf till dark in perfection. I got out early and tired craving a cold dog by the pool. Mike V, featured in the photo, kept wanting more. Can't blame him. This photo to me represents that insatiable hunger that comes with surfing. You can never get enough, especially when it's perfect.

To my non-surfing friends reading this, a wedge is when the wave comes in from a different angle, bounces off something like a rock shelf and wedges the wave up to a peak. We have the famous Wedge in Newport which is a prime example. This is a tamer more enjoyable and less crowded one in the middle of paradise.
